The ingredients needed to make Chicken Afghani:
  1. Take 400 gm boneless chicken
  2. Make ready 1 1/2 cup curd
  3. Take 1 cup unsweeten cream
  4. Make ready 2 tbsp kasuri methi
  5. Get to taste salt
  6. Get 4-5 tbsp ghee or oil
  7. Get 2 tsp garam masala
  8. Make ready 3 tbsp garlic paste
  9. Make ready 1 tbsp ginger paste
  10. Get 5-6 chillies
Instructions to make Chicken Afghani:
  1. In a bowl add curd and whisk well
  2. Dry roast kasuri methi(fenugreek) and crush it in the curd.Also add garam masala, ginger garlic paste, salt,chillies, 3tbsp of cream and chicken and marinate for 20 to 30 mins
  3. Add oil in a kadai and add chicken pieces to it and let fry untill golden brown from both sides(do not add the batter)
  4. Add a whole spoon of batter once the chicken is cooked. lather the batter evenly to the chicken pieces
  5. Now add in the remaining batter and cover it with lid and let cook for 4 to 5 mins(can also add chilli powder if required)
  6. Add in the remaining cream and mix well
  7. Chicken Afghani is ready….serve with naan or roti
