Prepare 4 black pepper
Prepare 2 tbsp oil
Take 1 tsp ghee
Get 2 green chillies chopped
Take 1 tbsp coriander chopped
Steps to make Makhmali Chicken Karahi:
Marinate chicken with little salt and black pepper powder for half hour.Meanwhile dry roast whole garam masala,bay leaves,dry red chillies,black pepper and cumin seeds.Grind and set aside.Grind fennel seeds to a powder.Make a paste of onion,curd,malai,ginger garlic paste and few cashewnuts.Slice 1 onion finely,smear little salt and pinch of sugar and fry it crispy brown.Set aside.
Remove excess oil.Heat 2 tbsp oil and ghee.Sprinkle half crushed whole garam masala,1/4 th tsp ajwain and fennel seeds.When they crackle,add the wet and dry masalas alongwith 1 tsp dry roasted masala,kasoori methi,tomato puree and fry.Then add the marinated chicken and toss till oil leaves sides.Add 3 cups warm water and cook covered till chicken is done.
Add 2 chopped green chillies and garnish with crispy fried onion and chopped coriander.Serve hot with tandoori naan or any Indian flat bread.
