  12. Prepare 4-6 green chilli
  13. Make ready 1-2 coal pieces
  14. Take 1 onion shell (pyaz ka chilka)
Instructions to make Chicken koila Karahi:
  1. Heat 1/2 cup oil in a saucepan and add chopped tomatoes.
  2. Cook until tomatoes are tender like paste.Set the paste aside.
  3. Heat remaining 1/2 cup of oil in another saucepan.
  4. Add fenugreek seeds.When fenugreek seeds crackle,add thinly chopped onion.When onions change colour add ginger garlic paste.Fry for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Now add chicken and fry for 4-5 minutes,add salt and crushed red chillies and mix well.
  6. Add tomato paste,mix well and cover.
  7. When chicken is tender and gravy is ready,add crushed cumin,coriander powder,dried fenugreek leaves and green chilli.Mix well and cover for 5 minutes.
  8. For coal smoke, take a shell of onion and place it in karahi.
  9. Heat a piece of coal and place burning coal on onion shell.Drop few drops of oil on coal and cover for 5-7 minutes.
  10. Koila karahi with tempting aroma of coal is ready to serve.
