  1. Take 500 grams Chicken
  2. Get 2 tbsp mustard oil
  3. Make ready 2 black cardamoms
  4. Make ready 2 bay leaves
  5. Make ready 4 cloves
  6. Get 1 inch cinnamon
  7. Make ready 5 black peppercorns
  8. Take 1-2 dried red chilli
  9. Make ready as per taste salt
  10. Take as required kasuri
Steps to make Easy Chicken Korma:
  1. Heat oil in a pan add black cardamoms, few bay leaf, 4 cloves, 1inch cinnamon, 5 black peppercorns, dried red chilli as per taste and kasuri methi. Saute them well, then add onions and fry them till golden brown. Add ginger-garlic paste and cashew paste and saute it well. Then add chicken pieces and fry on high flame. Then add salt, turmeric, hing, coriander powder, cumin powder and garam masala powder.
  2. Cover and cook till chicken is tender. Now add chopped tomatoes and fry again till it starts leaving oil. Now add some buttermilk and cook on low flame for 5 mins. Then close the lid of the pressure cooker and let a whistle come on high flame, then lower the flame and keep for another 15mins. - After opening, you can add more water or not as per your desired consistency
  3. Tips- - Try to make it with bone-in chicken as I always have felt that when juices from the bones seep to the korma, the gravy becomes more delicious. - Korma gets it's texture from cashew and the curd used so you can surely make that a point. - The aroma while cooking this is so awesome and the credit goes to the fried onion so be careful with that.
