Instructions to make Gajar ki kheer / Gajrela:

1. Wash, peel, grate carrots
2. In a fry pan add ghee n cook carrots on high flame til water dries up, set aside
3. In a pot add milk, let it boil n add soaked n hand crushed rice n cook it on low flame till rice are almost cooked
4. Now add carrots in it n keep cooking for 15-20 minutes n add sugar n cardamom powder.
5. Stir in between, when its cooked n thickens, pour it in bowl, garnish with almonds n pistachios.
