Steps to make Raw Banana Pakodas!:
  1. First peel and chop the bananas. Put the pieces in a bowl, add water, and boil till soft.
  2. In a separate bowl or in the microwave, boil a potato.
  3. Drain these vegetables.
  4. In a big bowl, add the veggies and them mash them together. The mash should be smooth, without any lumps.
  5. Now to this, add in the onions, green chillies, garam masala, and salt. Mix well.
  6. Add the gram flour, and pour in water little-by-little.
  7. The consistency should be such that you can make balls/pakodas/koftas with them.
  8. Once you reach that consistency, heat up oil in a non-stick wok.
  9. Simultaneously, start making the pakodas. They should be about 1-inch-diameter in size.
  10. These ingredients will yield about 15 pakodas.
  11. Once the oil is hot, add in the pakodas. Reduce the flame to low. This will ensure that the pakodas get properly cooked on the inside.
  12. Toss them around for 1-2 mins. Increase flame to medium, and keep frying these for 3-4 mins or until golden in colour.
  13. You may want to do 2-3 batches.
  14. Serve hot! These can be paired with rice and daal.
