  11. Get 1 stick Cinnamon
  12. Prepare 1 tbsp Cumin seed
  13. Make ready pinch Heeng
  14. Prepare 2 Red chilli dry whole
  15. Make ready 2 Red chilli powder
  16. Get 2tbsp Desi ghee
  17. Make ready as required Oil
  18. Take As required Coriander power
  19. Take as needed Garam masala
  20. Prepare 1 tsp Sugar
  21. Get 4-6 Black pepper whole
  22. Prepare 4-5 Cloves
  23. Prepare as required Turmeric powder
Steps to make Bhoger Khichuri: moong dal khichdi:
  1. Soak rice and moong dal in water for around 20 min
  2. Drain water and keep aside for dry
  3. Take kadhai and rast dal and chawal a little so that color changes to light brown. This gives very nice taste.
  4. Take a cooker and add oil 2tbs and ghee.
  5. Add jeera,heeng,bay leaf,black pepper, clove,dry whole red chilli, cinnamon and rast til splitter.
  6. Now add sliced potato and rast a lil
  7. Add carrot, peas, and rest vegitables and roast a bit
  8. Nice lil soft add roughly chopped tomatoes and stir well.
  9. Now add dal and chawal in same and mix well.
  10. Add spices,red chilli powder, coriander powder, salt to taste, turmeric powder and others and still well.
  11. Rast for a while.
  12. Add 6times water,that's my idea you may use your regular estimation for khichdi.
  13. Stir well and let a boil come
  14. Add sugar and 1 tsp garam masala and stir.
  15. Lastly add I tsp ghee and cover cooker.
  16. Let one whistle come on medium gas and then slow gas and let pressure built up for next 10min
  17. Switch off gas after 10 min and let it cook in pressure.
  18. Open cooker after ten min. Stir well with big ladle and mix well so that ingredients mix well.
  19. Serve in plate. Pour ghee over.
  20. Serve with padad,beguni,aloobhaja,curd,pickle and enjoy the yummylicious khichdi
