  10. Prepare 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  11. Get 1 tablespoon oil

  14. Make ready 1 teaspoon Mustard seeds
  15. Get 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  16. Take 3 teaspoon sesame seeds
  17. Get Pinch Hing/asafoetida
  18. Prepare 4 teaspoon oil
Steps to make Handva pudla:
  1. Rinse rice in one bowl and in another bowl all dals and soak in water for 4-hours
  2. Drain excess water from rice and dals and transfer in mixer jar. Blend them add 1/2 cup of curd and salt
  3. Blend it till smooth consistency and than transfer into other bowl and cover the lid and keep in warm place for 7-8 hours
  4. After 8 hours open lid stir the batter and add grated dudhi(lauki) ginger, garlic, green chilli paste. oil and turmeric powder
  5. Add baking soda (cooking soda). Pour tablespoon lemon juice
  6. Heat oil in one pan add mustard seeds when crackle add cumin seeds, sesame seeds and pinch of hing and add into batter
  7. Spread the batter as per size of pan than over with lid and keep it in low flame
  8. Cooked it looks cooked light golden brown than flip it gently to cooked other side. Than transfer into the plate. Handvo pudla is ready to serve
