To begin with this particular recipe, we must prepare a few ingredients. You can have chorizo and potato croquette using 10 ingredients and 5 steps. Here is how you cook it.

The ingredients needed to make Chorizo and Potato croquette:
  1. Take 2 large baking potatoes
  2. Make ready 4 tbsp milk
  3. Get 10 tablespoons breadcrumbs (or make your own)
  4. Take 1 tablespoon butter
  5. Get 1/2 yellow onion chopped up fine
  6. Get 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  7. Make ready 1/2 teaspoon salt
  8. Prepare 3 tablespoons flour
  9. Get 10 Slices Chorizo, blended
  10. Take 3 eggs

My Baked Cheesy Potato Croquettes are an easy bite-sized snack or side dish. Mashed potato, stuffed with cheese, coated with breadcrumbs and baked until Mashed potato with minimal (or zero) butter/milk/cream helps to maintain the structure of the croquettes. Chorizo Croquettes - Chorizo and sausage aren't the same, but apparently you may use both to jazz up your regular potato croquettes. Ham and Potato croquettes - For any leftover holiday ham you have, you can simply dice them up and add into your potato croquettes mixture.

Instructions to make Chorizo and Potato croquette:
  1. First cut potatoes into wedges about 2cm and boil for 9 minutes
  2. Mash your potatoes and add the Milk, Butter, Onion, Pepper, Salt, Chorizo and 2 eggs. Give a good mix and leave in the fridge for about an hour.
  3. While you are waiting either make your own breadcrumbs by blending 3 slices of bread and placing on a baking tray for 10 min at 210 fan.,or place your bought onto a tray spread out. Mix 2 eggs in shallow dish
  4. After an hour get your hands dirty by making 2inch by 2inch balls. Then role in the egg then in the breadcrumbs, then place onto a tray.
  5. Cook in the oven for 10 minutes, turn them over and cook for another 10 minutes.

Chorizo Croquettes - Chorizo and sausage aren't the same, but apparently you may use both to jazz up your regular potato croquettes.
