Replace chana dal with moong dal in same quantity for variation. Wash and drain moong dal and add directly in.   1. Peel bottle gourd. Cut it into pieces.
  2. Take a wok, heat ghee. Add cumin seeds. When it starts crackle add onion, green chilli and ginger. Cook it on low heat for 3-4 minutes. Add add all the spices.
  3. Add bottle gourd. Mix it well. Cook till it becomes soft.
  4. Add chopped tomato in it. Mix it well. Cook for 3-4 minutes. Sabji is ready.
