  1. Make ready 1 cup Yam
  2. Get 1/2 cup Potato boiled
  3. Prepare 1/2 cup Sabudana
  4. Take 1 cup Mawa (grated)
  5. Make ready 1 1/2 tbsp Corn flour
  6. Prepare 1 Green chilli ,finely chopped
  7. Make ready 2 tbsp Coriander leaves
  8. Prepare 3/4 tsp Salt
  9. Make ready 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds
  10. Make ready 1/2 tsp Red chilli powder
  11. Make ready 2 tbsp Oil
Instructions to make Yummy Yam Tikki:
  1. Soak sabudana in water for 3 hours. Drain out extra water.
  2. Peel and cut yam into pieces and add salt, mix. Leave for 1/2 an hour, wash and boil it.
  3. Mash potato, yam, sabudana and salt.
  4. Heat oil in a pan adds cumin seeds, green chili, and red chili. Add potato mixture. Mix well. Switch off the gas. Mix corn flour, mawa, and coriander leaves.
  5. Make takkies out of this mixture and shallow fry on a tawa.
  6. Serve hot with green chutney and tomato ketchup.
  7. Your yummy Yam Tikki is ready to serve.
