  1. Get 1 litre full cream milk
  2. Take 1/2 cup sabudana
  3. Get 15-20 strands kesar (saffron)
  4. Prepare 1/2 tsp cardamom powder

Steps to make Sabudana Kheer:
  1. Wash 3 - 4 times the sabudana and soak in 1/2 cup of water for 1 hour.
  2. Heat milk in a heavy bottomed pot.
  3. When the milk comes to boil add the soaked sabudana and saffron strands.
  4. Simmer the milk with sabudana and saffron till the milk thickens and sabudana are cooked (35 - 45 minutes).
  5. Keep stirring in between. Add sugar and cardamom powder and mix well.
