  1. Take 1 cup barnyard millet (samak rice)
  2. Get 1/4 cup Tapioca pearl(sabudana)
  3. Make ready 1/4 cup curd
  4. Take 1 tsp Fruit salt or baking soda
  5. Take Little salt
  6. Take 1 tbsp ghee
  7. Take 1 tsp mustard seeds
  8. Take 1 tsp black sesame seeds
  9. Prepare Few curry leaves
Steps to make Samak Sabudana Idli:
  1. Soak the samak rice and sabudana for 2 hours in different bowls.
  2. Now drain it and grind it adding curd in it and make a smooth paste.Let it be rest for 15 minutes.
  3. Now grease the idli moulds with ghee and get ready the steamer.
  4. Now add little salt and fruit salt and mix in one direction only.Now fill all idli moulds and steam it for 15 minutes at medium flame.
  5. After cooling down,demould them and can be eaten with coconut chutney.
  6. And for tempering heat1 tbsp ghee,add black sesame seeds,mustard seed and curry leaves and pour it on the idlis.
  7. Our delicious spongy samak sabudana idlis are ready to serve.Enjoy.
