The ingredients needed to make Tomato Sabudana Khichdi:
  1. Take 1 cup medium sized Sabudana
  2. Make ready 1 large tomatoes, finely chopped
  3. Take 1 Boiled Potato, chopped
  4. Take 1 tbsp Groundnut Oil/ghee
  5. Take Handful Peanuts
  6. Take 1 Green Chilli
  7. Take Few chopped Coriander
  8. Get to taste Salt
Instructions to make Tomato Sabudana Khichdi:
  1. Wash Sabudana 3-4 times and soak by adding just enough water to cover them only. Soak it for at least 4-5 hours or overnight.
  2. Dry roast peanuts and grind them coarsely. Keep aside.
  3. Chop tomatoes, green chilli, coriander leaves and boiled potato and keep aside.
  4. Heat oil/ghee in a pan, add cumin seeds and let it crackle. Then add finely chopped tomatoes, green chilli and salt. Cook it covered till tomatoes a mushy.
  5. Now add boiled & chopped potatoes, soaked sabudana, mix well. Cook uncovered on a low flame until the sabudana are a bit translucent.
  6. At the end, add coarsely grinded peanuts and chopped coriander leaves. Mix well and serve hot!
