Hello everybody, it’s me, Dave, welcome to my recipe page. Today, we’re going to make a distinctive dish, chirashi zushi. It is one of my favorites. This time, I’m gonna make it a little bit unique. This will be really delicious.

  1. Make ready 3 cups rice
  2. Prepare Chirashizushi no Moto
  3. Take 500 g shrimps
  4. Get 2 packs shiitake mash room
  5. Get 1 pack kamaboko
  6. Make ready 2 eggs
  7. Prepare 3 tablespoon shirodashi
  8. Prepare 2 tablespoon mirin
  9. Take 200 ml water
  10. Take 1/2 teaspoon Sugar and salt

Traditionally sushi rice is used, and chirashi rice contains more rice vinegar than is used in sushi maki rolls and nigiri. The rice needs to be made ahead and cooled before using. This is my favourite type of sushi. And for this occasion I have a photo guide for you.

Steps to make Chirashi zushi:
  1. Mix the rice and chirashizushi no Moto.
  2. Remove the hull of shrimps. Ringer it well.
  3. Mix water, mirin and shirodashi in a pan and boil shiitake mash rooms for 5 minutes.
  4. Put shrimps in a dashi mixture and boil it for 5 minutes
  5. Mix eggs and sugar and salt. Pour oil in a pan and fry egg.
  6. Slice kamaboko into small pieces.
  7. Slice fried egg into small pieces.
  8. Put mixed rice in a bowl. Add shitake mash room, shrimp, kamaboko and egg on it. Put Nori on it.

" Chirashizushi" is known as scattered sushi and is served on plates or bowls with colorful toppings. It's often cooked for celebrating special occasions, such as festivals and birthdays.
