Prepare For shami cutlets:
Take 250 gm boneless chicken
Prepare 1/2 cup chana dal(washed and soaked)
Prepare 1/2 tsp haldi powder
Prepare 1 tsp zeera
Take 1 tsp garam masala powder
Get 2 tsp ginger garlic powder
Make ready 1 potato
Take as required Chopped green chillies + chopped mint+ chopped coriander
Prepare 1 egg for mixing
Get as per taste Salt
Prepare as per need Beaten egg for coating
Prepare as required Bread crumbs
Take as needed Butter to toast buns
Take As needed Burger buns
Get As required cheese slice
Take as required Sauteed veggies of your choice( Here I have used onions and cabbage
Get As required White sauce
Get as needed Mayonnaise
Instructions to make Shami Burger:
Mix together soaked chana dal, chicken pieces, haldi powder, zeera,garam masala, ginger garlic paste, peeled potato and salt and pressure cook it till chicken pieces tenderise or upto 4 whistles.
When it gets cooked. Mash the chana dal and potato with masher while shred chicken in chopper. Break 1 egg and add coriander, mint,green chillies and bind it together.
Now make bigger size pattice. Dip it into beaten egg and rolled it over bread crumbs and fry the shami cutlets from both the sides till it becomes crispy.
For white sauce(heat 1 tbsp butter. Add 1 tsp maida. Slowly add required milk to make flowing consistency batter. Now add slice cheese depend upon your preference). Let this mixture gets cooled and thicken. Now add mayonnaise and mix properly.
Cut the burger bun. Spread butter and toast it on tawa.
Now spread white sauce+mayonese. Put sauteed veggies, shami cutlet and slice cheese and your burger is ready to go with french fries.
